Twenty kilometers from the Kenyan capital Nairobi, there is an unusual hotel known as Giraffe Manor, where you find the endangered Rothschild giraffes walking into the hotel grounds.
Thanks to the program for the protection of local nature, giraffes feel free to roam around the hotel premises. Tourists love this hotel as they get an opportunity to interact with these animals.
The hotel was built in 1930, but it turned into giraffe sanctuary when Betty Leslie Melvilles purchased this property in 1974. The Giraffe Manor was transformed into a boutique hotel by her family in 1983.
